Creativity
“Creativity is seeing what everyone else has seen, and thinking what no one else has thought.” Albert Einstein
Creativity can be a double-edged sword. At times it can feel like a flowing river of inspiration while at other times anxiety, writer’s/creator’s block, and imposter syndrome can make creating feel like a chore. Your unique spark and purpose is important and you owe it to the world to cultivate it. Feeling stuck or blocked is discouraging at best and devastating at worst. Luckily, there are many techniques that can be used to feel empowered around your creative flow.
I help creatives move into flow using EMDR, hypnotherapy, drama therapy, and somatic awareness.
What do you help with?
- Writer’s/creator’s block
- Stage Fright
- Imposter Syndrome
- Decision Fatique
***Please note that most sessions involving creative guidance will not meet criteria for medical necessity and therefore, it is likely that insurance will not reimburse your session. Incorporating creative guidance into psychotherapy sessions as a coping skill or resource can be part of mental health treatment and therefore more likely to be reimbursed.
